Nylon Vacuum Bag "Tubes"
Available in 18”, 36” and 60” widths.
The widths noted are the widths of the bags’ lay flat dimensions.
The tubes can be used for bagging applications up to 350°F, if the two ends are sealed with the high temperature sealant tape. For room temperature or low heat bagging up to 125°F the Quick-Lock Seals can be used to conveniently seal both ends.

Peel Ply Release Fabric
Available in 2" and 60" wide
A polyester release peel ply fabric treated so it will not bond with epoxy. It is used as a backing sheet in lay ups, and will absorb some resin. The peel ply wets out with epoxy, cures with the rest of the lay up, and can be peeled off after the epoxy has cured leaving a bondable surface.

Mylar® (PET Polyester Film)
Available in 24" and 48" widths
A Mylar® carrier sheet, .014" thick, provides a smooth glossy surface for wing skins when vacuum bagging. The Mylar® should be waxed with mold release wax before use.

Non-porous Release Film
Available 60" wide
This 60" wide release film is 1 mil thick, which allows it to conform to complex shapes easily. It can be used to prevent epoxy from sticking to mold or bagging material.

Perforated Release Film
Available in 60" width
Release film with evenly spaced pin holes that allow controlled removal of excess resin when vacuum bagging. It is applied on top of the wet laminate and then covered with breather felt which blots up the excess resin when the laminate is bagged. We recommend using this product in lieu of peel ply if a bondable surface is not required, since it releases more easily from the cured laminate.

Porous Teflon Coated Glass
Available in 38" width
This glass cloth has been coated with Teflon to form a porous non- bondable fabric that can be used to control the resin content of a laminate during the bagging operation. It is applied directly over the uncured, epoxy impregnated glass, and then covered with a breather mat that will absorb the excess resin. The amount of resin removed is contingent upon the number of layers of bleeder felt used.
