Quick-Lock Vacuum Bag Tube Seals
Available for sealing the 18”, 36” and 60” bag tubes
A quick, convenient, innovative method of sealing the nylon bagging tube exclusively from ACP. Eliminates the need for vacuum bagging tape to seal the end of the bag tube. Allows easy access into the bag and repeated usage of the bag tube. Simply lay the bag tube over the rod and snap the “C” channel on down over the rod.

Vacuum Bag Sealant Tape
This is aerospace quality bagging tape, not window caulking. It is extremely tacky and makes and excellent bag sealing medium. Don't forget, you'll need extra if you are pleating your bag.

Breather Cloth
Available 15”, 30, and 60” wide
Thin, stretchable, high fill non-woven polyester material that will easily conform to the contours of a part. Specifically designed to allow the vacuum to flow from the bag connector to the end of the tool or to bleed of resin from the laminate. Can be reused if a non-porous release film is used to prevent the breather from absorbing the resin. To control resin content of the laminate use a porous or perforated release film on top of the laminate to allow the resin to be absorbed into the bleeder cloth.
-
400° F max operating temperature

EZ Vac Connector
An all metal, threaded type connector that allows a convenient way to pentrate the nylon bag film or tube so that the vacuum hose can easily connect to the bag. Can be reinstalled when replacing bag tube. Has barbed end that accepts 1/4" neoprene tubing.

Water Soluble PVA Partall®
Partall® Coverall Film is the new non-hazardous, low VOC water-based polyvinyl alcohol (PVA - Parting Film) coating that acts as a barrier between parts and reactive mold surfaces. Partall® Coverall Film is also recommended for use on seasoned molds as extra protection against demolding problems. Higher solids content aids production efficiency by providing greater protection with fewer coats applied saving labor, time and material. Improved formulation enhances use - no fisheyes or cob webbing, self-leveling and faster dry film build up. The higher viscosity of Partall® Coverall Film allows application by brush, roller, sponge or cloth as well as excellent spray characteristics.

High Temp Vacuum Bag Connectors
For connecting Vacuum through thin film or reuseable vacuum bagging systems. Recent redesign provides a Die-Cast rectangle which permits use of a 9/16" or 7/8" wrench, instead of pliers or vise, to grip the top when installing Quick-Connects. BP1/4 Vacuum Connectors are designed to be longer lasting than competitive products. The brass threaded insert is made by automatic screw machine and placed in a steel die, then 1200F molten aluminum under pressure fills the die. As the hot AL cools it shrinks and provides an air tight 50 Ft. Pound grip on the knurled section of the insert. Because BP1/4's are mode hot and not machined out of aluminum they stay flat and reusable at elevated temperatures. One company burned out the gaskets of a representative selection of available aluminum vacuum connectors at 800F. Our BP1/4's were the sole survivors, still flat and usable.

High Temp Quick Disconnects
This high-temp quick disconnect is made of high carbon steel that has been plated to slow oxidation. Each end has high temperature FKM O-rings that withstand up to 500°F (260°C). The quick disconnect has two way shut-off fittings. When they are diconnected, the air flow is shut off in both the plug and socket. This allows your vac valves to remain under vacuum pressure after the vacuum source has been disconnected. Parts can then be moved from the bagging area to the curing area without loss of vacuum. Standard size : 1/4" female NPT. Note: Item is sold as a set (male/female), or as separate halves.

Frekote Mold Release
Frekote 700 is an economical all-purpose release that works with most epoxy resins. It offers excellent release properties, doesn't build up, requires no baking, and has minimal transfer.
|
 |
Mold Release Wax
Available in standard or high temp
A blend of imported waxes formulated to provide the maximum number of releases per application. It has no Silicon added thereby allowing the waxed Mylar to be painted and will not "Fish Eye" or pucker the paint finish.
-
High temp - 12 oz. can
-
Standard temp - 24 oz. can

Shrink Tape
Available in 100 Yd. rolls
Thin film tape that can be used to apply pressure on layed-up braided carbon tube structures to compact the laminate. Requires 175°F to activate shrinkage.
Available as:
-
Release coated - non-perforated
-
Release coated - perforated
-
Non-release coated - non-perforated

Vacuum Gauge
The vacuum gauge reads from 0 to 30" of Hg vacuum. It is used to monitor the vacuum obtained when bagging to prevent crushing of the foam cores.
Please note: Gauge has 1/8" pipe fitting. Can be reduced for 1/4" neoprene tubing using the pipe to hose fitting (see below) and separately purchased 1/8" threaded pipe.
|
 |
Vacuum Switch
An inexpensive and reliable full range miniature vacuum switch with good sensitivity, repeatability and set point tolerance. It has a dead band of 3-4" Hg. (i.e. it will shut the pump off at 18" Hg and turn the pump on at approx. 15" Hg). Adjustible from 3" to 29"Hg.
1/4" pipe thread - order pipe to hose fitting if you intend to plumb into 1/4" neoprene tubing.
|
 |
T Fitting
Allows the hook-up of two bags when using the Auto-Vac system. Fits 1/4" neoprene tubing.
Please note: We do NOT recommend using 2 bags with the EZ Vac System
|
 |
Bleeder Valve
An adjustible valve that allows the vacuum to be regulated to prevent crushing of light density foam. It's an inexpensive way to regulate vacuum pressure. However, the vacuum pump must run continuously until the epoxy resin cures.
