Narrow widths of woven graphite are available in tape fomm. It weighs 3.7 Oz. / Sq. Yd. and has a finished edge. It can be used to reinforce fuselage sides and large landing gear doors. It is availabie in 1" and 3" widths.

FIBERGLASS TAPE (TF)

Fiberglass tape consists of fine woven fiberglass cloth manufactured into narrow widths and supplied with a non-raveling edge. The tape has been treated to develop a compatible resin surface finish for fast wet out and better bonding. It is used to reinforce wing centersections, and gliderfuselage areas.lt is available in 1/2" & 1" width in 3 mil thickness (approx. 1.4 Oz. / Sq. Yd.) and 1", 2", 3" & 6" widths in 5 mil thickness (approx 3 Oz. / Sq. Yd.)
